A change to your content is any task that can be completed in 30 minutes or less.
Here are some examples:
- Adding an event to your page or calendar
- Changing body copy on one or two pages
- Adding or replacing images on content pages
- Adding testimonials or changing the names of your offered services
Here are examples of what does not fall under the category of a content change:
- Adding an online shop
- Adding a log-in feature or memberships
- Creating flyers or print materials
- Creating an additional page that is outside the original design
I will give you all the details you need to submit a support request for your content changes. You’ll be able to upload any supporting documents and images that will be needed to make these changes. I get started as soon as possible and will let you know when the changes are complete. Standard turnaround time is 24 to 48 business hours.
If you need something that is not included in your plan, we will go through the process of establishing what exactly you need to achieve with this task so a separate quote can be created. If it is something that does not require a quote, it will completed and billed on a case by case basis. This will depend on how far outside of the plan the task is.
Unfortunately, because of the nature of the internet, I cannot promise with any certainty that your website will not get hacked. If your website faces an emergency, I will be the first to know, along with my private hosting partners to ensure the fastest recovery possible. If necessary, I will be able to assist in restoring your website with one of our stored backups.
Fortunately, the whole purpose of my care plans is to be preventative whenever possible, so every action taken within your care plan is to bring the risk of hacking or downtime to the lowest possible.
You will be billed with the payment information you provide at the beginning of each month. One the payment is complete, you automatically receive a copy of the invoice for your records.
From June 1, 2019 – December 20, 2019, I am available Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 5pm.
While I typically prefer using my private hosting partners (because they are awesome!) I can review your web hosting package to check that they’ll make a suitable home for your website and then you’re good to go.
If you would rather switch over to my recommended hosting company, I can migrate your website over for a standard fee.
All sessions are done either over the phone or via Skype. If you have any issues with these methods, please let me know!
Yes. There is no contract required for these services and you may cancel at anytime (I’ll be sorry to see you go!). Please send an email to email@example.com and your next payment will be immediately stopped.
